Let me introduce myself.

My name is Fayaz Anwar.

I graduated with a Theoretical Physics bachelor degree from Lancaster University in the UK. Through my undergraduate studies I encountered numerous topics spanning from quantum mechanics to Javascript.

Since then I have utilised these invaluable skills to learn Python, SQL, HTML/CSS and Power Bi. Applying myself has led to many undergoing projects as you can see in this portfolio linked above, such as a spotify ETL pipeline, an arduino automated plant waterer and a bank statement scraper. This is due to the Python course I am studying covering multiple areas including API's, JSON and XML.

Aside from developing I believe protecting the environment is one of, if not, the most important issue our world faces. I was 1 of 3 delegates representing the UAE on the global stage for Mock COP26 and I am 1 of 20 Ambassadors for Nature for Emirates Nature WWF and I hope to, one day, combine my passion for nature with coding and science.

As a side hobby, which is slowly turning into my second business venture, I am a photographer and filmmaker. My website contains some of my work, along with the link to my Instagram where you can see my portfolio in full.

I have spent 3+ years in Dubai teaching students Mathematics and Science, and now I believe I am ready for my next step in my career.

What Can I Do For You?

Educational

Services including teaching a full class of students, private tutoring 1 on 1, providing a personalised lesson plan and revision scheme and creating workshops and materials for all ages.

Data Analysis

Designing technical solutions that bring to life the vision for any data product, using mostly Python, SQL and data visualization tools such as power bi. I use elicitation, statistical and qualitative data analysis and translate data to produce ETL pipelines, resulting in best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.

Media
